Cross-continental Executive Coaching for U.a.e. Senior Leaders Across 28 Countries

Context & Objectives:

Senior leaders in today’s interconnected world face an increasingly complex environment. For the U.A.E. public sector, this reality is magnified by responsibilities that extend across borders and require collaboration with diverse stakeholders in multiple regions. Leaders must be agile, resilient, and strategic, able to navigate ambiguity while maintaining alignment with national priorities.

To support this mission, a 6-month executive coaching program was designed and delivered virtually to 30 senior leaders. Leveraging the flexibility of modern coaching platforms, the initiative reached leaders spread across 28 countries(1) spanning the Middle East, Asia, Africa, Europe, and South America.

The main objectives were to provide tailored coaching that:

  • Catalyzes insight and growth through personalized executive coaching conversations.
     
  • Advances leadership capabilities to address evolving challenges in governance, policy-making, and service delivery.
     
  • Broadens systemic understanding to strengthen strategic thinking and sharpen decision-making at a cross-continental scale.

By grounding the program in real-world leadership challenges, the initiative sought to unlock each leader’s potential while equipping them with practical strategies for long-term impact through professional coaching.

Approach:

The program adopted a highly personalized and globally connected coaching methodology. Delivered entirely virtually, it ensured accessibility for leaders across five continents while maintaining a consistent and high-quality coaching experience through a robust executive coaching platform.

Each of the 30 participants engaged in six 1-hour coaching sessions over a six-month period. The sessions were structured to balance reflective dialogue with actionable insights, ensuring leaders had the opportunity to process challenges, test new approaches, and apply learnings in real time.

  • Catalyzing insight and growth: Coaches employed powerful questioning, active listening, and feedback techniques to enable leaders to uncover blind spots, clarify priorities, and strengthen their personal leadership style.

  • Broadening systemic understanding: With leaders spread across diverse geographies, the program highlighted cross-cultural perspectives, interdependencies, and global trends, helping participants to approach decisions with a wider and more strategic lens.

The design of the program emphasized trust, confidentiality, and practical application, ensuring that leaders not only grew individually but also aligned their growth with organizational and national objectives.

Results:

The program produced measurable and significant outcomes:

  • 54% improvement in leadership skills, as self-reported and validated through feedback mechanisms.
     
  • 4.96/5 average coach rating, reflecting the quality, expertise, and impact of the coaching experience.
     
  • 97.6% platform satisfaction, demonstrating that the virtual delivery was seamless, accessible, and highly effective across 28 countries.

These results reinforced the value of personalized, cross-continental executive coaching in elevating leadership readiness, strengthening decision-making, and equipping U.A.E. senior leaders with the tools to thrive in a globally interconnected context.
