Hussein Salama specializes in leadership and executive coaching. Hussein is a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) and is currently pursuing the Associated Certified Coach (ACC) accreditation. Hussein has extensive experience building, growing and leading organizations at global technology companies. Hussein spent the last 14 years at Microsoft as the director of its Egypt Development Center. Hussein was responsible for setting up his organization for long-term success and growth and for enabling his people to perform at their best by striking the delicate balance between “freedom to innovate” and “focus on delivery.”
Prior to Microsoft, Hussein spent five years at technology startups. Hussein started his professional career in 1996 at Cisco Systems in San Jose, California.
Hussein received a PhD in Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and an MBA from San Jose State University, California. He obtained his undergraduate engineering degree from Cairo University, Egypt.
